How would you compare Naproxen to Hydrocodone for pain relief?

I recently had some Hydrocod-APAP 325mgs from my motor vehicle accident, but recently ran out. I found some Naproxen 500mg in my medicine cabinet and wanted to ask experienced people’s opinions on how the pain relief feels different.
I understand that Hydrocodone is an opiate analegic and Naproxen is an anti-inflammatory, but I would still like to see how people compare the 2.
Would heat help with lower back pinched nerve?

I think i pinched a nerve in my lower back, right at the top of my right buttocks. Should i get a heating pad? And what should i do to help it heal? Any stretches?
Would discontinuing chiropractic maintenance visits cause sciatica to return?

I have seen a chiropractor for a number of years for the treatment of sciatica. I have had good benefits from this treatment, but lately I have not been going regularly. Could just not keeping up on maintenance cause it to return. I have not done anything else that would be responsible for bringing this on. I would especially like to hear from Chiropractors and Chiropractic techs.
What would cause a case of chronic back pain?

My fiance’ has a pain in her lower back almost everyday. When i massage it i notice that her muscles are almost rock hard/knotted until i massage them. Her doctor has prescribed her with meloxicam which is an arthritis medicine, the medicine does not help at all any other suggestions, besides icy hot, or ibuprofen/pain meds or some sort of diagnosis?
What would cause pain on inner upper thigh similar to sciatica?

53 yr f. has pain on inner left thigh near groin. Feels similar to sciatica. but is not. Had hernia surgery, but hernia was not cause of pain, since after 6 wks pain is worse. Frustrated and my GP is not much help. Not sure who to see next. Please help.
