What could my upper back pain be from?

I have had upper back pain for over a year now. I have slight scoliosis but I don’t think it would be causing me this much pain for so long. I feel like I can’t even sit or stand correctly. I have been to the doctor for this and I was told to go get an mri but my parents do not take me seriously and will not take me. Asprin and Aleve only slighty ease the pain for a few hours. What could this pain be from?

How can I get relief from my sciatica?

I am 16 wks pregnant and have horrible sciatic nerve pain on both sides. It is especially painful when I go to bed. The moment I lay down, both nerves feel as though they are being cut!
My doctor’s nurses suggest I lay on my left side when lying down, but that’s the side that hurts the worst.
It just pretty much hurts on both sides as well as flat on my back. And of course I can’t lay on my stomach. Any advice?
