What should I do about severe pain and cracking in my neck?

For a little less than a month now I have had severe neck pain. I cracl my neck constantly to relieve tension and pain as gross as that is. I don’t want to crack it and I fear I am hurting myself more. I am seeing a doctor in a few days but I don’t understand why this is happening. My parents thinki it is growing pains but I could literally crack it all day long if I wanted to (Which I don’t)
Please help me!

What should I do about a herniated disc?

I have recently had lower back pain and pain down my right leg. I went to my family doctor and she had me get an x ray and an MRI and found I had a herniated disc and gave me the number of a orthopedist to see about it. i made an appointment with the orthopedist but the earliest appointment isn’t until August 11th! I’m really worried about not getting better before school starts again, is there anything I can do in the mean time to help myself get better? Or am I stuck waiting til the 11th?

I have a question about sciatica and pregnancy?

My friend told me that his wife has sciatica. I know this is not a diagnosis, but rather a set of pains plaguing the sciatic nerve. Anyway, his wife got pregnant and according to my friend she “had to abort” because the doctors told her that it would be between loosing her leg (I guess meaning it would become limp/dead) or giving up the baby. Is this true? Can people with sciatic nerve problems not have children?
