My fiance’ has a pain in her lower back almost everyday. When i massage it i notice that her muscles are almost rock hard/knotted until i massage them. Her doctor has prescribed her with meloxicam which is an arthritis medicine, the medicine does not help at all any other suggestions, besides icy hot, or ibuprofen/pain [...]

What is a good product to relieve back pain?
I have pain in my mid to upper back. I have a doctors appointment on Monday but I need something to get me through until then, I am in a lot of pain. I have tried Done’s but it didn’t help.

The more you shorten the muscle the better it relaxes when you do the other stretch she says about.

Being that the muscle involved with Sciatica is piriformis, shoudn’t you stretch the lateral hip rotators rather than shortening them? Or is your goal to take pressure off of the nerve by shortening them?
Also, at 1:07, which muscle are you referring to? The piriformis?
