Pain Relief
Why am i having severe low back pain?
I had a spinal fusion in ’99. It’s been ten years and I’m 27 now and have been having severe low pain that radiates to my right shoulder and neck. Is this going to chronic or is there something else going on?
A few things can be going on here, one common possible condition is failed back syndrome, which in simplistic terms is an overabundance of scar tissue causing pain (which would need surgical removal), or the failure of a local vertebral segment due to the excessive forces placed on it because the original segment is no longer accepting normal loads of motion (this can be controlled with chiropractic if the damage isnt to severe yet).
However, the radiation specifically to the right shoulder may actually suggest a visceral (organ) problem. One likely offender is the gall bladder, you may have a stone.
Get this checked out asap, if its a visceral complaint you will want it taken care of quickly.
