Can you have sex with a herniated disc in your back?
I had a herniated disc in my lower back for about 4 months now.I wanted to know can would it still be ok if me and my girlfriend had sex?Will we have to have to cut down on sex?Will sex make the pain and the herniated disc more worse?
I’m afraid to say that sexual intercourse will most definatly make the pain of the injury worse and possibly even actually cause more physical damage to the disk/nerve dramatically increasing the pain for an extended period of time as well as obviously.
As for weather you are willing to put up with the pain and the high risk of further injury to your disk is of course totally your decision, make it wisely though (you can’t undo further damage anymore than you can undo the damage you have already done).

My husband has had one for almost 2years–it hasn’t slowed him down any! If you feel any discomfort-change positions–if anything it will just help you get creative. Have fun!
